1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Grease a muffin tray or line with paper cases.
2. Sieve flour, baking powder and cinnamon into a bowl. Mix in the salt, sugar and bourbon vanilla sugar and make a well in the middle.
3. Mix the milk, eggs and butter together well in a second bowl and pour into the well. Stir carefully, until all the ingredients have sufficiently mixed together. The dough should still be lumpy.
4. Now carefully fold in the blueberries and pour the mixture into the prepared muffin moulds. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes. Remove the muffins and leave them to cool on a cooling rack. Serve the muffins dusted with icing sugar.
