One Skillet Vegan Hamburger Helper
Using a homemade vegan cheese sauce and seasoned tempeh, giving this meal the healthy twist it deserves. Ultra cheesy, kid and adult approved!

Instructions
  1. Prepare the vegan cheese sauce ahead of time, set aside.
  2. Chop up tempeh into small pieces and place in skillet with extra virgin olive oil.
  3. When the tempeh is easily broken down into small pieces (you can do this while it’s in the skillet using a spatula to break it up) add in marinara sauce and all the spices.
  4. Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions.
  5. When the pasta is done add two cups to the tempeh mixture along with 1 1/2 cups of the vegan cheese sauce, yellow and green onions and red bell pepper.
  6. Mix everything well and adjust seasonings to your liking if need be. Keep mixing around on low to medium heat for 5 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately and Enjoy!

  • Keeps well in the fridge for up to 4 days.
  • Store vegan cheese sauce in an air tight container.
